Lots of activities for adults and families!

Description

RStanding Stone Ranch is offering weekly horse riding lessons to take you further in your ability and knowledge of riding. They will work on a proper seat to learning different speeds of your horse, turning, backing, making sure you're a more confident rider. You may choose one time a week or two whatever fits your schedule and your convenience.



$90 for 4 lessons

Under 7 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Mom and Son?s - here is your chance to spend some quality time on the river together. Come enjoy the beauty of nature and join the crew at River Rats for a day on the Arkansas River. Six miles down the river, lunch and all safety gear is provided.

Price is per participant. So sign up Mom, then register each son that will be going with you.

There is a separate waiver that is required by River Rats. We will post them here as soon as I get them, or you can pick it up at the RHRC Office.

We're sorry, but online registration is not allowed for this activity. Please contact us during regular business hours for registration information.

Get your teams together to "Walk Kansas," a distance of 425 miles. Walkers only, no bicycle or running miles will count. Every team that reaches their goal will receive t-shirts. Teams will consist of 1 to 4 members. Team captains will be responsible for reporting team miles weekly. Kids are encouraged to participate with their own team or with their family!

We are putting together a series of short acts where your child gets the chance to play center stage and in a supporting role throughout their experience. In using a variety of one act plays we will get to try out different kinds of characters and plots. We will take the time to get creative, designing our own props and costumes from some unlikely sources! This fun low stress program brings the best parts of youth theatre home to Rose Hill.


There will be a performance on Friday, July 28 at 7 pm.

This league is combined with local towns and some travel on game days will be required. Practices, beginning in August, will be at the discretion of the coaches and will be held during the week in the evenings. Games will be on Saturdays beginning after Labor Day weekend.

Sierra Hills hopes to use the game of golf to promote the basic educational values of honesty, integrity and respect for each other and the game of golf by building the character of each participating youth through the sport of Golf.


Dates: Wednesday mornings June 7 - July 19

Times: Times per Age are subject to change

5 - 7 years old: 8 am

8 - 10 years old: 9 am

11 - 14 years old: 10 am

Fee: $75 (Price includes a T-Shirt and the opportunity to play the course on Jr Golf Days. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in an end of the season tournament and party details coming)

What to Bring: You must provide your own clubs; wear your Jr Golf Camp shirt every day and either golf or tennis shoes.

This trip includes admission and a docent led tour to an exhibit at the Wichita Art Museum. We will visit the gardens, the Kid?s Makerspace and have a snack before returning to the Rec center.

Don't miss out! Get your preschooler signed up, active in recreation, and involved in their first team sport. This is a developmental T-Ball program with age appropriate equipment. Teams will play actual games with no score kept. The kids will have a BLAST!

The participants are having a great time and learning the art and steps to your favorite Line Dances and more. Our goal is to keep this class moving and to teach you a variety of dances, with the benefit of some cardio. Dart Warz is the premier indoor foam dart battlefield. It offers the coolest alternative to paintball or airsoft. Dart Warz offers the fun and intensity of paintball rolled into foam darts. The mission is simple: To promote honesty, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Description

Back by popular demand our 3D art class will tantalize your young makers mind.

We will explore different techniques for creating structures while learning how to use some messy media like papier mache and paper clay. We will also create a collaborative art piece that uses recycled materials. All materials and a snack provided.

Description

This one is back by popular demand! This is a 4-day camp that lets you bring out your theatrical, art, and cooking side. Each day will be spent learning theatre, sampling different forms of art, and trying your hand in cooking different dishes. On day 4 you will get to showcase your talents to your audience, letting them see, touch, and taste all you got to experience all week.


Note: On Thursday, the final day of the camp, the campers would like to invite their parents to come enjoy their Showcase, where they will display their art, you will snack on their cooking creations, while enjoying their theater presentation. That will begin at 12:30 pm on Thursday.
