RHRC offers programs for our youth of all ages – year round!

Description


This archery program is designed to train kids and introduce them to organized archery. We focus on form and safety, giving basics that will get students safely shooting, and a general feel for archery. Whether your child is just interested in archery for fun or aspires to be the next World Champion, we can help them on the path to their goals.

Description

Develop a foundation of knowledge and responsibility in horsemanship. Along with daily riding, participants will learn grooming skills, safety, equipment care and parts, trail riding, mounted games, horse anatomy and the basics to becoming a true horse person.

Participants must wear long pants, boots, and bring your sack lunch with a drink.

Good behavior and listening skills a must. If participants arrive without their long pants and boots they will not be able to ride due to safety reasons. Helmets are provided! You are welcome to bring your own horse.

3rd through 6th grades

This league is combined with local towns and some travel on game days will be required. Practices, beginning in August, will be at the discretion of the coaches and will be held during the week in the evenings. Games will be on Saturdays beginning after Labor Day weekend.

Our Dance Instructor, Michelle Carlson has brought a convenient and affordable dance program to Rose Hill. And it just keeps getting better: This 8-week session has them learning new and fun dance styles. Guys and Gals both!

Note: There is not a late fee for signing up after the session is started, but there is also no pro-rating for missed classes. Class size is limited, so late enrollments might not be allowed.

The Wichita Wingnuts are coming to Rose Hill for a morning clinic focusing on teaching baseball fundamentals to the kids! After the clinic the players will be available for an autograph session! Bring a baseball to get autographed!

Participants must have shoes and a glove!

Put down the electronics and pick up a paddle! Come enjoy the beauty of nature and join the crew at River Rats for a day on the Arkansas River. 6 miles down the river, lunch and all safety gear is provided.
