Walk Kansas - Summer Session

June 1, 2026 to August 31, 2026

Get your teams together to "Walk Kansas", a distance of 425 miles. Walkers only, no bicycle or running miles will count.Every team that reaches their goal will receive t-shirts.Teams will consist of 1 to 4 members. Team captains will be responsible for reporting team miles weekly.Kids are encouraged to participate with their own team or with their family!Captains, register your team here with their names and shirt sizes.E-mail: Colton Waters with your miles each week. colton@rosehillrec.com

Cardio & Strength Summer II

July 27, 2026 to September 17, 2026

This class utilizes weights as well as your own weight for strength, mixing in cardio to get the heart rate up and the blood pumping. It offers an amazing selection of cardio, strength, drills and skills for everyday living. This class is designed for progression, any fitness level encouraged to join.

For a multiple fitness class registration discount, you must come to the RHRC office to register.

Morning Yoga Summer II

July 27, 2026 to September 17, 2026

You will increase flexibility, balance and strength while progressing at a healthy pace. All fitness levels welcome. Experience the art of deep breathing for personal awareness and relaxation from stress. Find release from the stiff muscles in your back, neck, shoulders, and legs.

Mats and blocks are available or you may bring your own.

Evening Yoga Summer II

July 27, 2026 to September 17, 2026

Yoga-style sessions include a flow of poses that help build strength and flexibility in a balanced way. Each class offers options to allow all participants to individualize the workout to make it more or less challenging. Experience the many physical and emotional benefits that yoga can offer.

Mats and blocks are available or you may bring your own.

Art of Aging Summer II

July 28, 2026 to September 15, 2026

This class is designed with creative combinations restoring muscle strength, muscle power, as we improve your overall balance, flexibility, and more. These benefits will be achieved while using your own body weight and various tools to enhance your experience. Patters of functional movement that will be easily modified for all fitness enthusiasts of any age or fitness level. Every class will encourage you to continue daily movement with confidence for your everyday activities.For a multiple fitness class registration discount, you must come to the RHRC office to register.

Belly Dancing Summer II

July 28, 2026 to September 15, 2026

Belly Dancing is a good cardiovascular workout that increases flexibility and strength. It focuses on the torso or core muscles, while encouraging a fun style of fitness. Belly Dance is suitable for all ages and body types. We offer individual challenges as we work on choreography and combinations.

Zumba Summer II

July 29, 2026 to September 16, 2026

ZUMBA® is a fusion of Latin and International music / dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO." The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.

Strength and Flexibility Summer II

July 30, 2026 to September 17, 2026

This class is designed to improve your overall fitness, strength, flexibility and balance. It is a full body workout consisting of stretching and toning that incorporates a variety of equipment and body exercises. Strength and flexibility is perfect for all ages and body types.For a multiple fitness class registration discount, you must come to the RHRC office to register.

Youth Volleyball League 3rd_4th Grades

August 17, 2026 to October 17, 2026

3rd through 4th grades

This league is combined with local towns and some travel on game days will be required. Practices, beginning in August, will be at the discretion of the coaches and will be held during the week in the evenings. Games will be on Saturdays. Includes a team shirt.

Volunteer Coaches are needed for this league!

Jr Rocket Volleyball Camp - 3rd - 6th Grades

August 24, 2026 to August 26, 2026

THIS CAMP IS FOR STUDENTS GOING INTO 3RD - 6TH GRADE

Join the RHHS Volleyball Team for an exciting camp where young athletes can hone their skills, learn teamwork, and have fun! Through drills, games, and scrimmages, participants will improve their technique and gain confidence on the court.

Camp T-Shirt is included.

This program serves as a fundraiser for the RHHS Volleyball Team.

Superhero Cape Workshop

September 10, 2026 to September 10, 2026

Get ready to become a superhero! Join us to design and create your very own superhero cape using fun colors, shapes, and decorations. Whether you’re a speedy superhero, a fearless protector, or have powers all your own, your cape will be one-of-a-kind. Then, wear your masterpiece with pride at our Superhero Family Walk on September 24! Parent participation recommended for younger kids.

Safe Sitter Babysitting Class

September 12, 2026 to September 12, 2026

Safe Sitter prepares students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they're home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who's choking, and helpful information like what to do if there's severe weather. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use CPR manikins to practice choaking rescue and CPR!

Bring a sack lunch and drink.

All Star Dance

September 14, 2026 to November 9, 2026

All Star Dance is a learning experience for guys and gals to better understand how music and movement complement each other. With over 20 years of dance and theatre under her belt, Andrea puts a new spin on choreography by thinking outside the box and straying from the normal dance routines. This fun class is for grades K - 3rd!

Beginner Archery

September 21, 2026 to October 26, 2026

This archery program is designed to train kids and introduce them to organized archery. We focus on form and safety, giving basics that will get students safely shooting, and a general feel for archery. Whether your child is just interested in archery for fun or aspires to be the next World Champion, we can help them on the path to their goals.

Superhero Family Walk

This Half Mile walk/run is for youth of all abilities! Come dressed as your favorite superhero and be ready to have fun while getting out and moving! Various stops along the way to complete a superhero activity. This event is focused on healthy living and getting up and moving! Free!

No need to register - see you there!

We will meet at the Shorty Cox Park Concession Stand.

School's Out - Dodgeball Is In

CPR Training

October 18, 2026 to October 18, 2026

Now is the time to learn proper technique for CPR and basic first aid at a bargain price. Each participant will receive an American Heart Association certification card.

Paint Your Art Out - Kids' Halloween Class

October 21, 2026 to October 21, 2026

This class is for young painters and curious kids who want to paint their crazy creativeness on canvas, while having fun! kids will have step by step instruction to paint this "Ghost with Pumpkin Balloon".

All supplies provided; children may get messy so please dress appropriately.

RHRC Adult Cornhole League Switcholio

October 21, 2026 to November 18, 2026

Switcholio is a blind draw round robin in which players get a new partner for every game. Each player will play 4 games per night. Your individual points will be kept for the league standings and the overall winners will receive prizes. Players must play at least 2 of the 4 weeks to be eligible for the league tournament. You will sign up as an individual. All skill levels welcome!

You are welcome to use your own bag's but we will have a few extra as well.
