Walk Kansas - Spring Session
May 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026
Get your teams together to "Walk Kansas", a distance of 425 miles. Walkers only, no bicycle or running miles will count.Every team that reaches their goal will receive t-shirts.Teams will consist of 1 to 4 members. Team captains will be responsible for reporting team miles weekly.Kids are encouraged to participate with their own team or with their family!It's Free!!! Cardio & Strength
May 25, 2026 to July 16, 2026
This class utilizes weights as well as your own weight for strength, mixing in cardio to get the heart rate up and the blood pumping. It offers an amazing selection of cardio, strength, drills and skills for everyday living. This class is designed for progression, any fitness level encouraged to join.
For a multiple fitness class registration discount, you must come to the RHRC office to register.
Morning Yoga
May 25, 2026 to July 16, 2026
You will increase flexibility, balance and strength while progressing at a healthy pace. All fitness levels welcome. Experience the art of deep breathing for personal awareness and relaxation from stress. Find release from the stiff muscles in your back, neck, shoulders and legs.
Mats and blocks are available or you may bring your own.
Evening Yoga

Yoga-style sessions include a flow of poses that help build strength and flexibility in a balanced way. Each class offers options to allow all participants to individualize the workout to make it more or less challenging. Experience the many physical and emotional benefits that yoga can offer.

Art of Aging

This class is designed with creative combinations restoring muscle strength, muscle power, as we improve your overall balance, flexibility, and more. These benefits will be achieved while using your own body weight and various tools to enhance your experience. Patters of functional movement that will be easily modified for all fitness enthusiasts of any age or fitness level. Every class will encourage you to continue daily movement with confidence for your everyday activities.For a multiple fitness class registration discount, you must come to the RHRC office to register.
Belly Dancing

Belly Dancing is a good cardiovascular workout that increases flexibility and strength. It focuses on the torso or core muscles, while encouraging a fun style of fitness. Belly Dance is suitable for all ages and body types. We offer individual challenges as we work on choreography and combinations.
Zumba

ZUMBA® is a fusion of Latin and International music / dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO." The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.
Strength and Flexibility

This class is designed to improve your overall fitness, strength, flexibility and balance. It is a full body workout consisting of stretching and toning that incorporates a variety of equipment and body exercises. All Star Dance is a learning experience for guys and gals to better understand how music and movement complement each other. With over 20 years of dance and theatre under her belt, Andrea puts a new spin on choreography by thinking outside the box and straying from the normal dance routines. Tiny Rockets Soccer Camp - 3 years old to 2nd Grade

Boys and Girls
Coach Kaba and staff will teach you the important skills and techniques you need to improve your game. Throughout the week, campers will focus on developing core soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting, while also promoting physical fitness and sportsmanship. This camp serves as a fundraiser for the RHHS Girls Soccer Team. All participants will receive a soccer ball!
Jr Rocket Soccer Camp 3rd - 8th Grades

Ok Kids Day for Kansas Kids. This day is designed to give kids of all ages a chance to experience the outdoors. Come as a family for Free fun. This event includes a Hot Dog picnic and lots of door prizes. Saturday, June 27th 9am to 1pm located East of the School Street Pond.
Free T-shirt and goodie bag for kids that check in at the Registration Tent. There is a limited number of these so be sure to check in early!!

Youth Fishing Derby

Join us for a fun-filled Youth Fishing Derby where young anglers can cast a line, enjoy the outdoors, and compete for prizes! Bring your fishing gear, patience, and excitement for a great day at the pond. RHRC will provide bait. Hot Dog Lunch after the conclusion of the Fishing Derby. No registration needed, just show up! Ages 16 and up requires a Kansas Fishing License. 10:30am-Noon.
No need to pre-register. Just show up! East side of School Street Pond.

Step back into the days of backyard competition and neighborhood games with our Sandlot Series! This laid-back program is all about getting together and having fun playing the game your way. From kickball to soccer, each session brings a new chance to compete, create, and connect. We'll make up the rules as we go. Don't miss out! Get your preschooler signed up, active in recreation, and involved in their first team sport. This is a developmental T-Ball program with age appropriate equipment. Teams will play actual games with no score kept. The kids will have a BLAST!
