Youth Programs

Fall Program Guide 2019

Signing up for Youth Basketball now – 5 years old to 6th grades.

RHRC offers programs for our youth of all ages – year round!

Description

This one is back by popular demand! This is a 4-day camp that lets you bring out your theatrical, art, and cooking side. Each day will be spent learning theatre, sampling different forms of art, and trying your hand in cooking different dishes. On day 4 you will get to showcase your talents to your audience, letting them see, touch, and taste all you got to experience all week.

Note: On Thursday, the final day of the camp, the campers would like to invite their parents to come enjoy their Showcase, where they will display their art, you will snack on their cooking creations, while enjoying their theater presentation. That will begin at 12:30 pm on Thursday.

Description

Most children have been practicing their own version of tumbling ever since they could crawl. So we help toddlers as young as 18 months learn motor skills and social skills in a safe, creative setting - with the help of parent participation. Older children up to 5 years can develop coordination and confidence through floor and balance beam gymnastics lessons. It's a fun, positive experience with lots of one-on-one guidance. Form fitting clothes are recommended.

"Every child should be safe." - Safe Sitter, Inc.

Safe Sitter® is a national, non-profit organization that provides programs to teach youth life and safety skills for when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Over 175 lives have been saved by Safe Sitter® graduates using their skills.

This Babysitting Certification class is interactive, exciting, hands on, and informative. Young teens need training in first aid, indoor and outdoor safety, and how to handle household emergencies before they are adequately prepared to stay home alone or watch younger siblings. Safe Sitter graduates are prepared with the knowledge they need to prevent problems and handle unexpected emergencies.
